USS Swimming

The Plymouth Whitemarsh Aquatic Club / United States Swimming (PWAC/USS) Program provides additional training and competition after the regular Suburban Aquatic League Season.  

In order to participate, a swimmer must:

• enjoy competitive swimming;
• want to improve their times, techniques, and conditioning;
• be between 6 and 18 years of age;
• be a current US Swimming member (you may sign up through PWAC).

The program is certified by US Swimming and administered by a USS certified coach.  

Practices are held throughout most of the year, normally at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Pool )during cooler weather and other local facilities during the summer.

Athletes in the program participate in about 6 USS Swimming sanctioned meets during the year plus USS Championships - in addition to the regular Suburban Aquatic League Season and Championships.  The USS meets generally provide a larger diversity of events than the SAL meets.
